Hermitage panel OKs subdivision of lots
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Hermitage Planning Commission has approved the subdivision of five lots in LindenPointe Innovative Business Campus, a planned technical park the city jointly owns with KAKE Development Co. of Hermitage.
Marcia Hirschmann, city director of planning and zoning, said the lots, all about an acre, are on property owned by KAKE.
KAKE holds title to 59 acres, and the city owns 58 acres in the park off South Hermitage Road.
The park has two tenants so far -- Regional Cardiology Associates has been there for several years and Novocell Semiconductor Inc. will move into the park by the end of the year.
The subdivisions also must be approved by city commissioners.
The commission also approved final land development plans for a 19-unit condominium project on Maple Drive to be known as Garden View Estates of Hermitage and a Scoccia Development plan to convert a vacant house on North Hermitage Road just north of Park Place Plaza into retail and office space.
Both plans also must win city commissioners' approval.
