XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop dinners, $7.95. THURSDAYXCroatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad, and bread and butter. Proceeds benefit the club's building fund.
FRIDAY
XFirst Baptist Church, Eastland Avenue and Surrey Road, Warren, will hold a strawberry-ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m. Also available will be sloppy joes, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and beverages.

XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XNational Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be serving a fish buffet and selling pirogi. The buffet will be available from 3:30 to 7 p.m., and the cost will be $9 for adults and $6 for children. Potato and cheese pirogi may be ordered ahead as a takeout. The cost is $4 a dozen.
XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.
SUNDAY
XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those 5 and under may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available to patrons providing their own containers.
XA pre-festival barbecue dinner will be held at St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard. The dinner, which will be available for carryout only, will include barbecued chicken or ribs, potato salad and baked beans. Orders must be place before Thursday by calling (330) 545-0000. The church holds a festival every year. This year the event is July 23-25.
XA chicken marsala dinner is planned from noon to 5 p.m. by VFW Post 3767 and auxiliary at the post, 710 W. Liberty St., Hubbard. The cost is $7 and includes parsley potatoes, green beans, salad, bread and butter, dessert, and coffee or tea. For takeouts call (330) 534-9775.
XAuxiliary members of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfasts of eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns, pancakes, toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $3.50 for adults and $1.75 for children under 12.

XOur Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival will hold an opening day kick-off breakfast at 9 a.m. July 22 in the parish social hall. Tickets are $10 per person and will be limited to the first 250. Speakers will be Mayor George McKelvey, Judge Theresa Dellick, Chuck Sammarone, Artis Gillam and Ron Strollo. Master of ceremonies will be Bob Hannon, WYTV sports director.
