NEW YORK-PENN LEAGUE Scrappers rally in 10th to topple Jamestown, 7-5

Chris Clem's two-run single highlighted the Scrappers' three-run uprising.
JAMESTOWN, N. Y. -- The Mahoning Valley Scrappers scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning and defeated the Jamestown Jammers 7-5 Monday.
Mike Butia led off the top of the 10th with a single to center field. Chris Gimenez reached on a fielder's choice, advancing Butia to second.
After a fly out, the Scrappers (11-13) loaded the bases when Brian Finegan reached on an error by the Jamestown right fielder that sent Gimenez to second and Butia to third.
Fernando Pacheco walked to drive in Butia, snapping a 4-all tie.
Chris Clem kept the rally alive with a single to left field that plated Finegan and Gimenez. while Pacheco went to second. A groundout and a fly ball ended the inning.
The Jammers (9-15) scored once in the bottom of the 10th when Brad McCann homered to center.
Matt Knox (1-2) got the win for the Scrappers, throwing the final two innings.
Charles Knippschild allowed five hits and three runs (none earned) in six innings of work.
