Rotary holds installation of officers at club
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- The installation of officers for the coming year was a highly held by the Rotary Club of Youngstown on June 30 at the Youngstown Country Club.
Inducted as president of the organization was Elayne Klovis. Seated as her associate officers were Eric Caspary, president-elect; Carlton Sears, vice president; Myron McNair, secretary; and Kevin Chiu, treasurer.
Serving on the board of directors will be Atty. Jay Blackstone, Thomas J. Carney, Deborah Esbenshade, Frank Kishel, Carolyn Korenic, John Logue, Dan Rivers, Scott Schulick, Monsignor Robert Siffrin, and Kelly Stevens.
Rotary, a service organization, is comprised of business and professional men and women who conduct humanitarian projects, encourage high ethical standards, and work for world understanding and peace.
The local chapter was established in 1915 and meets at noon each Wednesday at the Youngstown Club. Its current project is Put Kids First, a partnership with Harding Elementary School.
