XHUBBARD -- The gazebo at Julia's Bed and Breakfast was the setting June 5 for the wedding of Dr. Melissa Ann Valantine of Austintown and Dr. Jeremiah Joseph Ferrara of Liberty.
The Rev. Matthew Varnell presided at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Edward and Karen Valantine, 2928 Whispering Pines Drive, Canfield, and the son of J.V. and Susan Ferrara of Liberty
After a honeymoon cruise, the couple live in Liberty.
The bride's strapless gown of white silk satin was detailed with silver embroidery, crystals, pearls and rhinestones, and the ballgown skirt featured box pleats.
Red gowns were worn by ValorieCiapala, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Susan Hartung, and the bride's cousin, Alicia Polacek. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Annalyn Valantine.
Lawrence Bequeath served as best man, and groomsmen were Michael Fusco and Joel Renzenbrink. Ushers were the groom's brothers-in-law, Jason Addy and Robert Nemcik; the bride's brother, Matthew Valantine; and the groom's brother, Frank Vitto.
The bride, a pediatric resident at Western Reserve Care Center and Forum Health Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown, graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown.
The groom graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, with a doctor of chiropractic degree.
