XPOLAND -- Melissa Gayle Sebest of Columbus, a daughter of Dr. Paul and Carol Sebest of Poland, and Theodore Oscar Nix III of Columbus, a son of Theodore and Gwen Nix of Sterling Heights, Mich., were married June 5 at Holy Family Church.
The Rev. Michael Swierz presided at the 1:30 p.m. wedding ceremony.
Afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
They honeymooned in Jamaica and live in Hilliard.
The bride's two-piece, strapless A-line gown of satin was embellished with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads and pearls, and featured a corset back.
Navy gowns were worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Jane Buckingham, and the bridesmaids, Danica Zeise; Lauren Sebest, the bride's sister; Jaime Lawler; Melissa Demchinski; and Becky Novak-Zemplinski.
Jason Berent served as best man, and groomsmen were Cory Sander, Michael Roberts, Dave Stockoski, Michael Demchinski and Roger Fox.
The bride, a professional medical sales representative with MedPointe Pharmaceuticals in Somerset, N.J., graduated from Ohio University with a degree in communications.
The groom earned a degree in nutritional sciences at Michigan State University and is a senior medical sales representative with MedPointe.
