XCHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Stephen Hageman and his bride, the former Kerry Wynn, both of 305 W. Eureka St., were honored during a reception held June 19 at the Illini Union Ballroom following their wedding at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
The Rev. Tom Holloway presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Ellen Wynn, 2114 N. Drury, Peoria, Ill., and Chester Wynn, 31 Book Lane, Jacksonville, Ill., and the son of George and Donna Hageman, 1720 Price Road, Youngstown.
The bride's sleeveless ivory gown featured a beaded bodice, dropped waistline and a full skirt.
Wearing light-blue gowns were Anne Wynn, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Beth Wynn, the bride's sister; Chanda Davidson; and Sarah Chicone.
David Hageman performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Scott Anderson, the groom's cousin; Matt Jennings; Cris Scarboro; and James Nelligan.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., and is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Illinois.
A graduate of Miami University at Oxford, the groom is a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois.
The couple live in Champaign.
