XSONORA, Calif. -- The garden wedding of Gerte M. Stoiber and Todd M. Lushinsky took place at 4:30 p.m. May 29 at the home of the bride's parents, Oswald and Vivian Stoiber, 21850 Sawmill Flat Road. Mr. Lushinsky is a son of Marie A. Daniels, 339 Shannon Lane, Granville, and Laurence W. Lushinsky, 9728 Lisbon Road, Green Township.
The Rev. Kenneth Hoover officiated, and a reception followed at the same location. The couple honeymooned in Costa Del Sol, Spain, and live in Redlands, Calif. They also were honored at a postnuptial reception held July 3 at the Youngstown Club.
The bride wore a strapless mermaid-style gown of ivory silk. She completed her attire with a cathedral-length veil.
Janelle Franco, her cousin, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Amy Nedostup, the groom's sister; Shannon White, Rose Wehby, Stephanie Lukehart and Jessica Boone. They wore cranberry gowns. Flower girls were Bethany and Katarina Riedel.
Best man was Bill Matteson, and groomsmen were Brendan Gunn, Simon Woo, Karl Johnson, Jason Fry and the bride's cousin, Chris Baker. The bride's cousin, Clayton Franco, was ring bearer. Also participating was the groom's uncle, the Rev. Anthony Fasline.
Mrs. Lushinsky graduated from California State University. Her husband is a graduate of Ohio University. They are employed at Environmental Systems Research Institute in Redlands, where she is a business partner program specialist and he is a corporate alliance representative.
