XYOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was the setting at 2:30 p.m. June 5 for the wedding of Dana L. Gagliano of Lakewood and Shawn P. Larson of Ashtabula. Parents of the couple are Dan and Connie Gagliano of Liberty and Gary and Mary Larson of Ashtabula.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio Jr. officiated, and a reception was held at Leo's Ristorante in Howland. The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba and live in Lakewood.
The bride's princess gown of white satin organza gown was embellished with bugle beads.
Her sister, Alicia Miller, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Tonya Gagliano, her sister-in-law; Mindy Rizzo, the groom's sister; Carrie Kirtz; Ren & eacute;e Nardella; Jill McNally; Lisa Ross; Heather Simmer; and Stacy Theis. They wore purple gowns. Flower girls were Mariana Rizzo, his niece, and Ashley Veneroso, her cousin.
Ryan Whitmire was best man, and groomsmen were Dan Gagliano, the bride's brother; Mike Rizzo, the groom's brother-in-law; Ron Miller, her brother-in-law; Chad Cummings; T.J. Hurst; James Keefer; Keith Kernekliah; and Mike Valentic. The bride's nephew, Michael Miller, was ring bearer.
A graduate of Kent State University with a degree in education, Mrs. Larson is a computer-technology teacher at St. Gregory the Great School in South Euclid.
Her husband is pursuing a degree in business management at Kent State University and is a team coordinator with Avery Dennison in Painesville.
