Boardman-Poland Junior Women to sponsor golf tournament

LOWELLVILLE -- The Boardman-Poland Junior Women's League Inc. will sponsor a golf tournament July 17 at Bedford Trails Golf Course. All proceeds will benefit the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. along with a continental breakfast followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start, lunch at the turn and a steak dinner and awards reception to conclude.
There also will be a Chinese auction featuring many donated gifts, a 50-50 drawing, hole prizes, team prizes and hole-in-one prizes featuring a Honda Civic, two round-trip airfare tickets, and a choice of premium electronics package and $5,000 cash. Other giveaways include a 27-inch flat-screen television and a week's vacation in Fort Myers, Fla.
Cost is $60 per person and includes golf and the three meals.
