WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA First National Bank to build a second Butler Co. branch
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- First National Bank is building a new branch bank in Butler County.
The $1.5 million dollar project is going up in Seven Fields, just north of Cranberry, and is expected to be completed in late September.
"Butler County is one of the fastest-growing areas in Western Pennsylvania," said Stephen Gurgovits, president and chief executive of F.N.B. Corp., First National's parent company.
First National already operates a Butler County branch in Sarver. The pending merger with First National Bank of Slippery Rock will add more Butler County branches in Slippery Rock, Prospect, Portersville and Harrisville.
The Seven Fields branch will offer a full array of commercial services including cash management and business lending, wealth management services and comprehensive community banking services.
Paul Puleo, president and CEO of First National Bank's southern region, will have oversight responsibility for the new branch.
First National operates 123 branches in 22 counties in western Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio.
F.N.B. Corp., based in Hermitage, has total assets of $4.6 billion and owns and operates First National Bank, First National Trust Co., First National Investment Services Co., F.N.B. Investment Advisors, First National Insurance Agency and Regency Finance Co. It also operates consumer finance offices in Tennessee.
