BOARDMAN
July 1
Arrest: Boardman police arrested a 32-year-old Lisbon man near state Routes 7 and 14, Columbiana, on one felony count of misuse of a credit card.
Vandalism: An employee at Boardman Township Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered damage to two pavilion blinds and that someone had used a gluelike substance to damage a picnic table. Damage was estimated at $1,150.
Criminal mischief: An employee at Carnation U.S. Coach Tours, 5288 South Ave., reported a customer's car had its passenger-side window broken, resulting in $300 worth of damage.
Attempted theft: A man in the 7400 block of Westview Drive reported someone tried to steal two all-terrain vehicles parked next to his garage on a trailer.
Vandalism: A Hubbard man reported his truck's passenger-side window broken while it was parked at Aerolite Extrusion Co., 4605 Lake Park Road.
Vandalism: A Poland woman reported her vehicle's rear window damaged and that someone used a key to damage its passenger-side quarter panel while she was at Chuck E. Cheese's, 521 Boardman-Poland Road. Damage was estimated at $400.
Arrest: A 43-year-old Dublin, Ohio, man surrendered to police on a felony warrant charging him with passing bad checks. An employee at Rand J Trucking, 8063 Southern Blvd., reported being the victim of four bad checks totaling $6,785.
Theft: Police arrested a 49-year-old Boardman man on a theft charge after a $13 camera was stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Burglary: A man discovered his apartment in the 30 block of Shields Road had been entered. Three bags of cat food, two T-shirts, a hood to a coat and $5 worth of change had been taken.
Theft: After a theft at Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, an Austintown woman, 28, faced a theft charge. It was undetermined what had been stolen.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Cook Avenue discovered someone had ordered four movies on her television without permission.
Theft: Someone pumped $30 worth of gasoline into a vehicle before leaving Four Jacks Filling Station, 1215 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying.
July 2
Theft: An employee at Greenwood Market Motor Co., 7871 Market St., reported four dealer plates lost or stolen from the business.
Theft: A Poland man, 35, and a Boardman man, 37, were charged with theft from Shell True North gas station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road. The two left without paying for $19.74 worth of gasoline.
Theft: Someone took a $1,000, 13-horsepower pressure washer from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: An employee at Taylor Kia of Boardman, 7975 Market St., discovered three cars parked in a rear lot had been broken into and a $150 stereo had been removed. The worker also noticed a fourth vehicle had its dashboard and window broken, resulting in $350 in damage.
Theft: An employee at Greenwood Market Motor Co. told police several vehicles had been broken into and that a stereo was missing from one of the cars.
Criminal mischief: A woman noticed her fence had been pulled from a post in her yard in the 30 block of Rockdale Avenue.

Theft: A man reported someone entered his apartment in the 600 block of Cook Avenue and stole a $200 football card, $150 in cash and a $10 roll of quarters were stolen.
Assault: A Youngstown man reported being assaulted as he was leaving the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 853 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 19, and a Warren woman, 18, were arrested and accused of stealing four pieces of merchandise valued at $209 from Kohl's.
Theft: A 34-year-old Boardman woman was arrested near Stadium Drive and Ranier Trail on a theft charge after a $110 coffee maker, a $40 picture frame and four curtains were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 46-year-old Madison, Ohio, woman on a theft charge after six hand tools worth a total of $194.30 were taken from Sears.
July 3
Theft: A Coitsville man, 36, was arrested at the Mahoning County jail and charged with theft after an employee at JP Landscaping, 762 McClurg Road, reported a customer was the victim of theft by deception when the company's name was used improperly.
Theft: Police charged a 19-year-old Youngstown woman with theft. An employee at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, alleged the woman tried to steal a $30 bathing suit.
Theft: Police arrested a 66-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after two, $40 rings were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Someone left a Rich gas station, 5823 South Ave., and failed to pay for $18 worth of gasoline.
Theft: A man discovered two landscape lights, a wicker basket, a wicker birdhouse and another item stolen from his home in the 7400 block of Jaguar Drive.
Theft: A woman in the 70 block of Lemans Drive discovered 15 envelopes containing personal checks missing from her mailbox.
Assault: A man in the 4700 block of Euclid Boulevard reported being assaulted at his home.
July 4
Arrest: A 46-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on Bev Road on charges of failure to comply with the orders of a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Police say the suspect was driving 76 mph in a 35-mph zone on Western Reserve Road and that, while fleeing, he struck a vehicle, causing minor damage. Officers also say he failed to pull over and that he fled on foot before being apprehended.
Arrest: A Poland woman, 19, was arrested in the 5000 block of Youngstown-Poland Road on charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Police alleged she cut a rear screen to a pay laundry and trespassed on private property.
Theft: A woman in the 7400 block of Salinas Trail discovered her vehicle's front license plate missing.
Theft: A man reported $750 worth of golf balls and accessories missing from his garage in the 4400 block of Green Glen Drive.
Theft: Someone left the Country Fair Food Market, 7465 South Ave., without paying for $14 worth of gasoline.
July 5
Theft: A man in the 800 block of Cook Avenue discovered his Jeep's dashboard damaged, and a $150 in-dash CD player and a speaker box containing two, 12-inch subwoofers missing.
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop near U.S. Route 224 and Ronjoy Place, police arrested a 19-year-old Boardman man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Arrest: A 23-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near Brookwood Road and Market Street on a warrant charging him with misuse of a credit card.
Bad checks: Police arrested a 44-year-old Lake Milton man near Tiffany Boulevard and U.S. Route 224 on a charge of passing bad checks. An employee at Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall reported the business was the victim of 11 checks totaling $834 that had been written on a closed account.
Theft: Boardman police arrested a 45-year-old Youngstown woman at her residence on a warrant charging her with theft.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 4400 block of South Avenue reported someone used a key to damage her car's finish while she was at Cochran's Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave.
Theft: A battery was taken from two trucks parked at R & amp;J Trucking, 8063 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Someone removed $115 from Gamestop, 403 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 15-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after being accused of stealing a $17 pair of gym shorts from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A woman discovered someone broke a $175 lightpost, stole a light fixture and damaged a potted plant at her residence in the 7000 block of Paxton Road.
Vandalism: A woman reported five pieces of vinyl siding and two aluminum downspouts damaged on property she owns in the 6200 block of Market Street. Damage came to about $500.
July 6
Theft: A Campbell man reported his car broken into while he was at Cinema South Inc., 7420 South Ave. A $200, in-dash monitor, an in-dash CD player and a $200, 1,200-watt amplifier were stolen.
Theft: A man in the 4000 block of Arden Boulevard told police someone seized and took control of a Sony PlayStation 2 game system, four to five PlayStation games, six to seven CDs and a $30 leather jacket without his consent.
Bad check: A man in the 1800 block of Brandon Avenue reported someone issued him a $1,050 check he said the person knew would not be honored.
Theft: A woman discovered 60 to 80 pain medication tablets missing from her residence in the 1500 block of Sequoya Drive.
Bad checks: A woman in the 1200 block of Boardman-Canfield Road reported receiving five bad checks totaling $12,500.
Domestic violence: A 22-year-old Boardman man was arrested on a domestic-violence charge after a woman in the 7900 block of Market Street reported a situation there.
Theft: An employee at Cochran's Sparkle Market discovered a $500 vending machine had been stolen.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Negley man reported someone was using his 1998 Ford Taurus LX and refused to return it, and that the situation originated from a residence in the 200 block of Brookfield Avenue.
