Honorees include those who have contributed to health and medicine in areas such as diabetes and cancer research, efforts to reduce obesity, and community health and education efforts.
In 1987, a family was torn apart when Arnold and Jesse Friedman, father and son, were arrested for multiple sex crimes, including molestation of boys. Andrew Jarecki's Oscar-nominated, unsettling documentary, "Capturing the Friedmans" (9 p.m., HBO) is a provocative look at how the accusations affected the seemingly normal upper-middle-class New York family.
