ACTOR DIES: Sad news for daytime viewers, as Emmy Award-winning actor Gerald Anthony passed away May 28 at age 52. The actor first played Marco Dane on "One Life to Live" and, following a stint as Rick Madison on "Another World," repeated the role of Marco on "General Hospital" in 1992, which won him the best supporting actor Emmy the following year.
MORE IN THE CLAN: "One Life to Live" is filling out the roster of the Santi clan with the additions of newcomer Javier Morga to the contract role of Tico Santi, and Gary Perez as Jaime Padilla-Santi. Perez has guest-starred on "The Sopranos." Matt Metzger, who appeared on "American Idol" this season, has been signed by "OLTL" to play Kevin and LeeAnn's son, Duke Buchanan, a character who has been away from the series for a decade.
PICTURE THIS: Victor Alfieri, who appeared as photographer Giovanni on "Bold and Beautiful" in 2000, returns to the show Thursday and Friday. Also appearing Friday is Colleen Dion as Felicia Forrester.
HOT STUFF: Trent Cameron plays the role of his namesake, Trent, on "General Hospital." The character is already in the thick of the summer storyline involving Brook Lynn and the aspiring young singers clustering around L & amp;B. The character of Lucas, Bobbie and Tony's son, played by Ryan Carnes, returns to "GH" on Thursday.
