Bush-bashing liberal mediawill be surprised come Nov.
EDITOR:
In their effort to defeat President Bush, the biased, liberal mainstream media is outright lying to the American people on what the 9/11 Commission reported about the Al-Qaida-Iraqi connections.
The liberal media has been pounding home the point there was no credible connection between 9/11 and Saddam's regime, which they claim was President Bush's reason to go to war in Iraq.
Not once, did President Bush ever say there was a direct link with Saddam concerning 9/11, and if one is intellectually honest with themselves, they'll remember Bush's overall reason was one of pre-emption. President Bush's reasons were further bolstered by Russian President Putin, who told Bush that Russian intelligence learned that Saddam was targeting the U.S.A. here and abroad.
While deceiving this country, the liberal media took one sentence of a 15-page report and twisted it to fit the Democratic agenda. They didn't even focus on the rest of the paragraph that cited several Al-Qaida-Saddam links.
It's obvious there is a coordinated attack on President Bush by the liberal media. This prompted both Democrat and Republican members of this commission to say that the mainstream media is reporting the 9/11 report out of context.
Americans are waking up, seeing how slanted and hateful the mainstream media is in its effort to defeat President Bush, and that's why we seek other sources of news to find out the whole truth.
With all the media has thrown at Bush, he should be 25 points down in the polls, but come November, worst nightmare of the liberal media and their friends in Al-Qaida, other terrorist organizations and enemies of our country will come true: President Bush will be re-elected comfortably.

Actions of pro-Bush groupundermine American values
EDITOR
Move America Forward. Remember this name, the name of just one right-wing, pro-Bush group that wraps itself in the U.S. flag and claims to know what's best for America. This and other groups, for political reasons, forced CBS television network to drop the movie "The Reagans" from being aired. And now it is trying to deny the public from viewing "Fahrenheit 9/11" at theaters in the country.
Gee, I don't know about you, but I don't particularly care for some organization, no matter what side of the fence it is on, picking and choosing my entertainment for me -- or even more important, disallowing someone's point of view on politics to be seen by others. Just because it may offend someone's political beliefs does not give them the right to stop someone else from professing their beliefs. You don't like it, turn the channel or don't pay the money for the movie ticket.
What happened to the freedom of expression? What happened to viewing the films if you want and then discussing them in normal conversation afterward?
How ironic that Move America Forward and people like it, who wear their patriotism like a proud peacock and profess to belonging to God's political party, would undermine others' constitutional rights.

Who do Republicans mean in gripes of liberal media?
EDITOR:
I don't know how many times I've heard Republicans whine about the liberal media. Would they be referring to the radio media, which features Limbaugh, Savage, O'Reilly and other bastions of conservatism? Or maybe they meant TV media such as Fox's "fair and balanced" reporting? Maybe it's the print media, where Cal Thomas, George Will and Thomas Sowell spout their anti-liberal agendas. Neo-cons have successfully painted the mainstream media, outlets like CNN, CBS, The New York Times, USA Today, Time, Newsweek and ABC news as left-wing propagandist.
The only real liberal outlets are to be found on the Internet or in some corner of the magazine stand. It's time for liberals to come out of the closet and paint a true picture of the media: the one owned and edited by the huge media conglomerates that feed us the news, not as it is but however it suits their purpose.
