SOFIA VARACALLILUCAS SZARI
XBOARDMAN -- Sofia Maria Varacalli, 7293 Indian Trail, Poland, became the bride of Lucas Andrew Szari, 530 Deer Run Drive, during a ceremony at 1 p.m. July 3 at Calvary Assembly of God Church. The Rev. David Bennett officiated for the daughter of Joseph and Diane Varacalli of the Indian Trail address and the son of Edward and Janice Szari of the Deer Run Drive address.
A reception was held afterward at The Georgetown.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple will live in Cincinnati.
Mr. and Mrs. Szari are attending the University of Cincinnati. He is pursuing a degree in marketing and she, a degree in biomedical engineering and premed.
The bride wore a white gown styled with a full tulle skirt and extended royal cathedral train. Silver, clear and white sequins, beads and pearls embellished the bodice.
The bride's cousin, Emily Towns of Cincinnati, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Maria Colista of Poland, her cousin and godmother, and Valentina Zappia of Boardman, also her cousin. They wore celadon-colored dresses. Flower girl was Alexandria Polito of Columbus, another cousin.
Best men were the groom's brothers, Jason and Jared Szari, both of Boardman. The bride's cousin, Michael Stefko of Dallas, was a groomsman. Ushers were Dominic and Joseph Varacalli, both of Poland, the bride's brothers; Daniel Green, Boardman; and Matthew Bushling, Columbus. Ring bearer was Tyler Lisko, Struthers, her cousin.
