Comedy show will helplocked-out RMI workers
NILES -- McMenamy's and United Steelworkers of America Locals 2155 and 2155-7 will sponsor an evening of entertainment to benefit 360 locked out RMI Titanium workers at 6 p.m. July 18 at McMenamy's Amphitheater on Youngstown-Warren Road. A show called Lipschtick, a series of original improvisational comedies, starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available at McMenamy's or at the union hall on Main Street, Niles.
Northeast Ohio's gasgoes up after a drop
YOUNGSTOWN -- Gas prices in Northeast Ohio rose two cents this week after a two-week decline, averaging $1.83 per gallon, according to the AAA Ohio Motorists Association. The price is up 34 cents over last year's price at this time.
In Ohio, the state average this week is six cents lower at $1.77, and the nationwide average is seven cents higher, $1.90.
