70th anniversary being marked by the Lawrences

XNEWTON FALLS -- Mr. and Mrs. Ralph L. Lawrence, Warren-Ravenna Road, were guests of honor during a pig and lamb roast July 3 at their home in celebration of their 70th wedding anniversary. Their family hosted the event.
The former Dorothy M. McClain and Mr. Lawrence exchanged marriage vows July 3, 1934, in Cumberland, W.Va.
Retiring in 1974, Mr. Lawrence was employed by Packard Electric Co. in Warren. Mrs. Lawrence is a homemaker.
The couple have spent the winter in Thonasassa, Fla., for some 30 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence are members of Newton Falls United Methodist Church and Seffner United Methodist Church in Seffner, Fla.
Their children and spouses are Robert and Linda Lawrence of Baytown, Texas; Beverly and Ray Colbrunn of Vienna; Donald and Debra Lawrence of Newton Falls; and Ronald and Elaine Lawrence of Ravenna. The family circle includes 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren are deceased.
