Little b (ages 15-16)
Wolf Contracting 14, Line Drive Academy 2 -- Kyle Rupp and Josh Fyffe had three hits each while Max Hill, Scott Cullen, Logan Wigley and Dan Keil had two apiece. Keil homered, while Rupp and Joe Burnich hit doubles as Wolf qualified for the Mickey Mantle Tournament. Burnich was the winning pitcher, tossing a three-hitter. Nick Patrick was the losing pitcher.
Tri-T Colt (ages 15-17)
East Liverpool 13, Poland Spartan 10 -- Taylor Smith had three hits, including a double, for East Liverpool (11-6). Joe Renard had three hits, including a double, for Poland (8-8).
Austintown Artistic 8, Niles Dunnigan 2 -- Todd Mounce, Michael Lyden and Tom DeToro each doubled. For Niles, Joey Miller had two hits.
Babe Ruth (ages 14-15)Playoffs
Line Drive 17, Astro Falcons 9 -- Mike Kelly went 3-for-4 as Line Drive rode a 15-hit attack in the opening game of the series. The Falcons trailed just 9-6 after five innings.
Rondinelli 12, Belleria 0 -- Matt Katich threw a two-hitter with eight strikeouts. Mike Hoelzel doubled twice.
Tri-T Pony (ages 13-14)
Campbell Taylor Made Masonry 9, Columbiana Post 290 3 -- Phil Farmintino and Marcus Kraynak combined for the mound win. Kraynak also had three hits while Eligio Bonilla added three hits for Campbell (16-7). Ryan Smith was 3-for-3, while Josh Weikart, Tyler Dejong and Ryan Williams each added a hit for Columbiana.
Campbell Taylor Made Masonry 4, Boardman Option Care 3 -- Robert Switka and Aaron Soares each had two hits while Ryan Lopez added a hit for Campbell. Marcus Kraynak earned the mound win. Noah Taylor, Brian Smovak and Tom Thomesui each had a hit for Boardman.
