Miss Santangelo, Greg Swantek to wed Aug. 14

XBOARDMAN -- Joseph and Freda Santangelo, 121 Prestwick Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Claudia Santangelo of the same address, and Greg Swantek, son of Andrew and Theresa Swantek, all of 135 Rockdale Ave.
Miss Santangelo graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing and also holds a degree as clinical nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown and is a limited-service clinical instructor in the nursing program at YSU.
Mr. Swantek is employed by First Energy in Akron as an electrical engineer. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at YSU.
Aug. 14 has been selected as the couple's wedding day. They will exchange marriage vows during an open-church ceremony planned for 2 p.m. at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
