Credit union wins approval
WARREN -- Seven Seventeen Credit Union has been approved to add community groups in Canton, Jackson, Lake, Nimishillen and Plain townships.
The ruling by the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions allows people who live, work, worship or attend school in these townships to become members of the credit union.
Warren-based Seven Seventeen is the third largest credit union in the state with 75,000 members and $523 million in assets.
