FINAL RESOLUTION: Lenny Strollo is sentenced in federal court in Cleveland nearly four years after pleading guilty to racketeering crimes. U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley, who could have given Strollo 14 years in prison, sentenced him to 12 years and eight months, based on a recommendation from the government. The former mob boss, who turns 73 in April, offered apologies Tuesday to those he may have hurt intentionally or unintentionally. Strollo's sentencing had been delayed so that he could cooperate with federal prosecutors' efforts to dismantle organized crime activity in Mahoning County.
