BOWLING GREEN -- DeAndre Haynes scored 21 points to lead Kent State past Bowling Green 71-64 Wednesday night.
Haynes was 8-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-5 on 3-pointers, for the Golden Flashes (13-3, 7-1 Mid-American Conference).
The Falcons (8-10, 4-4) shot just 35 percent from the field. Kennedy Catholic graduate John Reimold scored 15 points for Bowling Green. Kevin Netter added 14 and Josh Almanson scored 11.
