AUSTINTOWN -- Nick Bodnar and Eric Chine each won individual titles to lead the Austintown Fitch Blue team to the team title over Ravenna and Uniontown Lake at Saturday's Josh Hephner Memorial Invitational Wrestling Tournament.
Bodnar defeated Tallmadge's Kyle Chonko, 13-4, in the finals to win the 130-pound weight class, while Chine defeated Shaker Heights' Corey Morrison, 18-6, to win the 189-pound title.
Fitch's Brian Weidenthal placed second in the 112-pound weight class as the Falcons finished finished first with 2901/2 points.
Madison Davis (103), Matt Reedy (112) and Chad McMullen (160) all won individual titles for Ravenna, which placed second with 2591/2 points.
Lake, which had 2581/2 points, had four individual champions: Adam Rogers (125), Jon Butler (145), Mike Miller (152) and Jeremy Rose (171).
Jackson-Milton's Nick Dierkes defeated Lake's Phil Campbell, 11-2, in the 140-pound final as the Bluejays placed ninth in the 20-team tournament. Adam Gettman (119) placed second for Jackson-Milton.
Other individual champions included Cuyahoga Falls' Todd Christianson (119), Akron Springfield's Chad Strittmatter (135), Shaker's Nick Simon (215) and Stow's Greg Ferrell (275).
Each wrestler had to win eight matches to claim an individual title.
Southeast's Brian Dye (103), Jacob Bartley (125) and Brad Lonham (215) each took runner-up honors as the Pirates placed fourth.
Warren JFK's Sam Rathburn placed second in the 145-pound weight class.
