A five-year contract for Arizona football coach Mike Stoops was approved by the Arizona Board of Regents. The contract guarantees he'll be paid $650,000 a year with the potential for $630,000 more for meeting performance goals. The agreement contains the same terms as the one-year contract Stoops signed with Arizona, but it has been extended through 2008.
