XBOARDMAN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Terrie Toot and Robert Patterson, both of 500 Boardman-Canfield Road, as they were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony Dec. 20 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Michael Pangio presided at the wedding, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the VFW hall in Washingtonville.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Jill Toot, 38099 Salem Unity Road, Salem.
The groom is a son of Arlene Patterson, 5490 E. Pine Lake Road, Petersburg, and James and Kathy Patterson, 122 Erskine Ave.
Lace, pearls and sequins enhanced the bride's white satin gown. It was designed with short sleeves, a Chantilly lace bodice and a chapel train.
Red and silver ensembles were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Debbie Cibula of Leetonia and Stacie Toot of Salem, and the bridesmaid, Lisa Romeo of Boardman, the groom's sister.
Nathan Willoughby of New Springfield performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jim Weir of Youngstown and Matt Miller of Boardman.
Mrs. Patterson is a customer-service associate at Sky Bank. Her husband is an assistant manager at Mascot Petroleum in New Springfield.
