GIRARD
Jan. 18
Breaking and entering: A man reported someone smashed his front window as he returned to his home in the 600 block of Trumbull Avenue. Some kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets were ransacked.
Assault: A woman alleged her boyfriend hit her in the mouth with his elbow during an argument at his Washington Avenue residence. She had a mark on her lower lip; the boyfriend had scratches on his neck and ears.
Jan. 19
Possible theft: A temporary tag was lost or stolen off a vehicle in the 700 block of Lawrence Avenue.
LIBERTY
Jan. 12
Criminal damage: A vehicle parked in the 4200 block of Logangate Road had its passenger-side window and steering column damaged.
Jan. 13
Theft: Police arrested a 24-year-old Masury woman on a theft charge after an employee at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., alleged she tried to conceal a shopping basket and leave the store without paying for 24 cans of baby formula.
Arrest: A 32-year-old Girard man surrendered to police and was charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: Someone took a 2004 Chrysler Sebring from a driveway in the 1700 block of Pleasant Valley Road without permission.
Criminal damage: A man in the 900 block of Tibbetts Wick Road reported hearing a BB strike his front window.
Criminal damage: Someone used a BB gun to break a vehicle's rear window in the 1400 block of Red Oak Drive.
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 1000 block of Church Hill Road through a rear door and removed an Ohio driver's license, two credit cards and $42 from a purse inside.
Criminal damage: An employee at DePizzo Sausage Co., 306 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, reported someone used a BB gun to cause about $1,000 in damage to a large window.
Vandalism: A woman in the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue reported a front bay window to her residence was damaged, likely by a BB or pellet gun.
Jan. 16
Vandalism: A Hubbard man discovered a plate-glass window had been shot on property he owns in the 300 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Burglary: A woman in the 3000 block of Frederick Street reported her apartment broken into, and a 20-inch TV, a microwave oven and an undetermined amount of money taken.

Criminal damage: A woman in the 1300 block of Keefer Road noticed a small hole in a picture window at her residence, possibly caused by a BB gun.
Jan. 18
Theft: A Youngstown man reported a daily planner book, $14 and 29 personal checks stolen from his vehicle parked at the Liberty Presbyterian Church, 1451 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Vandalism: Someone shot a window at V & amp;V Real Estate Investments, 397 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, causing $1,000 in damage.
Vandalism: Someone used a BB gun to damage two windows at a residence in the 10 block of Scott Lane.

Theft: A woman in her mid-40s reportedly took five sets of silverware after being asked to leave Denny's Restaurant, 4020 Belmont Ave.

Jan. 12
Theft: A bicycle was removed from a front yard in the 300 block of Erie Street.
Theft: Various items were taken from a residence in the 100 block of Hillcrest Avenue.
Jan. 14
Criminal mischief: Someone tossed eggs at two vehicles parked in the 600 block of West Park Avenue.
Jan. 15
Criminal damage: A woman in the 100 block of South Main Street reported finding a BB or pellet hole in her front window.
Jan. 16
Bad checks: An employee at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St., reported receiving several checks drawn on a closed account.
Jan. 17
Theft: A man stole various food items from Patton's IGA Super Center.
Jan. 18
Criminal mischief: Three 15-year-old boys reportedly threw snowballs and eggs at a residence in the 600 block of Saul Drive.
Jan. 19
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 500 block of Gladys Avenue reported someone tossed eggs at her home.
