PUBLIC FORUM: State Rep. Kenneth A. Carano of Austintown will hold a public forum for residents of Craig Beach, Lake Milton, and Jackson and Milton townships at 7 p.m. Monday at the American Legion Post 737 on Milton Avenue in Lake Milton. Carano, D-59th, will discuss topics including how a bill becomes a law, the state budget, the concealed-carry law, and the state's education system. Filing deadline: Elected officials who either aren't on the March 2 primary ballot or didn't run in November 2003 general election have to file annual campaign finance reports with their county board of elections by 4 p.m. Jan. 30.
