Miss Franklin, Turhan Henderson to wed July 24

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Yolanda Franklin and Turhan Henderson Jr., both of 256 E. LaClede Ave., have chosen July 24 as their wedding date.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Stewart Franklin, 473 W. Boston Ave., and the late Lois Franklin.
The future groom is a son of Turhan Sr. and Diane Henderson, 1319 Republic St., and FloEtta and Fred Jordan, 4037 Rush Blvd., Boardman.
Invitations will be issued for the wedding ceremony planned for 3:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. An early evening reception, also by invitation, is scheduled at St. Michael Social Hall.
Miss Franklin is pursuing an associate degree in business management through Ashworth College in Colorado in a home-study course. She served in the U.S. Navy and is employed by C. Telesis Inc. in Boardman.
Mr. Henderson is employed in security at New Bethel Baptist Church.
