XCAMPBELL -- The wedding of Melissa Vrabel, daughter of Joseph and Nadene Vrabel, Poland, and Michael Stiles, son of Larry and Ann Stiles, Diamond, took place at 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church.
Monsignor Victor Romza officiated, and a reception took place at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard. The couple live in Hiram.
The bride's white satin gown was detailed with lace and pearl drops and had a cathedral train.
Maid of honor was Sarah Orr, and matron of honor was Stacy Dillen. They wore red gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Mary Vrabel, the bride's sister-in-law, and Kim Nocera, April Rubesa and Michelle Lipka. Flower girls were Mackenzie Whitney, the groom's niece, and Jensyn Orr.
Hank Hoover and Todd Dolwick shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jeff Vrabel Sr., the bride's brother, and Mike Hallett, Lenny Hartman and Scott Bowers. Jeff Vrabel Jr., her nephew, was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in reading specialist. She is a language arts teacher with Cardinal Local Schools in Middlefield, where she also serves as head coach of the junior varsity girls basketball, junior varsity softball and seventh-grade volleyball.
The groom holds a bachelor's in elementary education from West Liberty State University and is a reading and English teacher with Berkshire Local Schools in Burton, where he is also head coach of varsity football and eighth-grade boys basketball.
