XYOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was the setting at 1 p.m. Dec. 13 for the wedding of Anna Maria Carbone, daughter of Josephine Perrett of Boardman, and Michael Charles Nagy Jr., son of Michael and Nancy Nagy, also of Boardman.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated, and a reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman. The couple honeymooned on a cruise. They live in Canfield.
The bride's Victorian-style gown was enhanced with pearls, sequins and embroidery.
Her sisters, Elia Stanko and Maria Frank, were matrons of honor, and bridesmaids were Christine Nagy, the groom's sister; Carmela Abraham, Suzanne Esposito and Debbie Napolitano, the bride's cousins; Erin Nagy, his sister-in-law; Erin Courier; and Kerrie Ebert. Jessica Esposito, her cousin, was junior bridesmaid, and flower girls were Madison Nagy, his niece, and Isabella Stanko, her niece.
Brian Nagy was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Anthony Carbone, the bride's brother; William Jr. and Todd Nagy, the groom's cousins; Dave Stanko and Howard Frank, her brothers-in-law; Michael Ambrose, her cousin; and Clint Nagy, his cousin. Junior groomsman was A.J. Esposito, her cousin. David Stanko, her nephew, and Tyler Napolitano, her cousin, were ring bearers.
The bride attended Youngstown State University and is employed at Dillard's in Boardman.
The groom holds an engineering degree from YSU and is an auditor and manager at Toys R Us Distribution.
