XYOUNGSTOWN -- Orlando, Fla., was the honeymoon destination of Bernard James Mauser and his bride, the former Amber Lynn Hughes, both of 1016 N. 22nd St., Milwaukee, who were married at 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at Christ Church Presbyterian by the Rev. Brent Allen.
A reception followed at Willow Creek, Girard, for the daughter of Rick Hughes, 583 W. Glen Drive, Boardman, and Debbie Neapolitan, Ripley, W.Va., and the son of Bernard and Deborah Mauser, 568 Liberty St.
Beaded lace adorned the bride's white, strapless, A-line gown.
Honor attendant was Jennifer Skelton. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Shaw, Karen Yankowy and SaraBeth Dull. They wore apple-colored dresses. Flower girl was Elizabeth Gottschall.
Kevin Mauser served as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Hughes, Josh Hughes and Chris Mauser. Ring bearer was Peter Gottschall. Ushers were Shawn Chumita and Doug Chumita.
Mrs. Mauser graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor's degree in Christian education. She is pursuing a master's degree in apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Charlotte, N.C.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree, Mr. Mauser earned a master's in apologetics at Southern Evangelical. He is pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at Marquette University, Milwaukee, where he is employed as a research assistant. He also graduated from Youngstown College of Massotherapy.
