Stacey Gardner, Jeffrey Buckshaw are engaged

XSALEM -- Dr. Greg and Lynn Gardner, 924 Carriage Hill Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Lynn Gardner, 1390 Kennedy Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, and Jeffrey Stephen Buckshaw, 336 Hillcrest, North Canton.
Parents of the future groom are George Buckshaw of Salem and Jean McCool of North Lima.
The bride-to-be is a research assistant with the Institute for Health and Social Policy in Akron. She graduated from Muskingum College in New Concord with a bachelor's degree and holds a master's of public administration from the University of Akron, where she is pursuing her doctorate in public policy and urban studies.
Her fiance graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor's degree and earned a master's degree from the University of Akron. He is a certified public accountant with Bruner Cox Co. in Akron.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony scheduled for 4 p.m. Sept. 4. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at the Timberlanes.
