Plans announced for Slifka-Orwig early May rite

XPOLAND -- Robert and Christina Slifka, 77 Alverne Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Suzanne Slifka, and Joseph Orwig, both of 3940 Bowen Road, Toledo.
Parents of the future groom are Joseph and Peggy Orwig, 7918 Yawberg, Whitehouse.
The couple have chosen First Presbyterian Church of Waterville for their May 8 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the 2 p.m. ceremony and also for an evening reception at Holland Gardens in Holland, Ohio.
Miss Slifka is an operations clerk at Fifth Third Bank in Toledo.
Mr. Orwig graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in finance and is in dispatch with TKX Logistics in Maumee.
