Parents announce Walfish-Gedeon wedding plans

XPlans for the upcoming marriage of Sarah Walfish, 692 Mull Ave., Akron, and David J. Gedeon, 5707 Mango Lane, Columbus, are being announced by their parents.
Nancy and Warren Walfish, 1167 Cookhill Circle, Akron, are parents of the bride-elect, and the future groom is a son of James and Ellen Gedeon, 43 S. Brockway Ave., Youngstown.
The couple have chosen April. 17 for their open wedding at 1 p.m. at St. Brendan Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Akron-Fairlawn Hilton.
The bride-to-be received her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She is a nurse practitioner with Summa Health System in Akron.
Her fiance, a certified public accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLP, in Columbus, graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree and earned a master's of taxation degree from the University of Denver in Colorado.
