XPITTSBURGH -- Christine Lynette Fix, 7151 Barker Way, San Diego, and Jonathan Stewart Durham, 50 E. Flower St., San Diego, exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 5 p.m. Jan. 17 at Morning Glory Inn with the Rev. Domenick Sgro officiating. A reception followed at the inn.
The bride is a daughter of Marvin and Carol Fix, 1275 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland. The groom is a son of David and Kathy Durham, 3919 state Route 160, Highland, Ill., and Sharon Hecker, Gunnison, Col.
The bride wore a silk crepe gown complemented with a lace and crystal stole that was made by her mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Durham graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., with bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering. She is a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy attached to the HSL-49 squadron in San Diego. He is a division officer and information professional stationed with the U.S. Navy computer telecommunications station in San Diego.
Carmella House of Annapolis was honor attendant and wore a crimson dress.
The brother of the groom, David Durham Jr. of Highland, performed the duties of best man.
