STANFORD, Calif. -- Josh Childress had 12 points and five assists in No. 1 Stanford's school-record 24th straight victory, 73-47 over Oregon State on Thursday night.
Chris Hernandez scored 11 of his 13 points in the first 11 minutes as the Cardinal (24-0, 15-0 Pac-10) built a big lead early. Fred Washington scored a career-high 11 points and Stanford shot 52.8 percent.
David Lucas had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Oregon State (11-14, 5-10), which had won three of four following a six-game losing streak.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Blake Stepp scored 24 points, all on 3-pointers in the second half, and Gonzaga won its 17th straight game.
Cory Violette added 20 points for Gonzaga (24-2, 13-0 West Coast Conference). Stepp's eight 3-pointers gave him a career total of 281, breaking Richie Frahm's school record of 280.
Brandon Gay had 21 points for the Toreros (4-24, 1-12).

DURHAM, N.C. -- Daniel Ewing scored 20 points to lift the Blue Devils to their 41st consecutive home win.
Luol Deng added 18 points for the Blue Devils (23-3), who hit a season-high 15 3-pointers. Shavlik Randolph had 16 points and J.J. Redick added 15 for Duke.
Joaquim Gomes scored 18 points to lead the Crusaders (13-12).
Washington 89, No. 17 Arizona 84
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tre Simmons scored a career-high 22 points and Washington (14-10, 9-6) moved ahead of Arizona into second place in the Pac-10.
The Wildcats were playing without leading scorer Salim Stoudamire, suspended by coach Lute Olson "for failure to meet team responsibilities."
Washington opened a 10-point lead early in the second half and held off a late rally by the Wildcats (17-8, 9-7), who were down to six players from their regular rotation.
Channing Frye had 25 points and nine rebounds for Arizona.

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Cardell Butler scored 23 points and Utah State (23-2, 15-1 Big West) won for the 21st time in 22 games while handing the 49ers their seventh straight loss. Kevin Roberts and Marcel Jackson each had 10 points for the 49ers (6-18, 4-11).
