AMHERST N.Y. -- Daniel Gilbert scored 22 points and Calvin Cage added 18 to lead Buffalo over Kent State, 82-66, Wednesday night, ending the Golden Flashes' 10-game winning streak.
Buffalo (13-11, 8-7 Mid-American Conference) used a 19-4 first half run to help build its 42-19 halftime lead.
Yassin Idbihi scored 16 points and was 4-4 from 3-point range for the Bulls, who won their fourth straight. Turner Battle added 13 points.
Bryan Bedford led Kent State (20-4, 13-2 MAC) with 18 points, while Jason Edwin scored 14 and DeAndre Haynes 11.
Bowling Green 79, Toledo 76, OT
BOWLING GREEN -- Josh Almanson made a layup and a free throw with nine seconds remaining in overtime. Ron Lewis had 20 points for Bowling Green (13-13, 8-7 MAC), and Kevin Netter had 19. Sammy Villegas scored 15 for Toledo (16-9, 10-6), and Keith Triplett had 14.
E. Michigan 75, Ohio 64
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Markus Austin scored 26 points for Eastern Michigan (12-12, 6-9 MAC) and shot 6-for-9 on 3-pointers. Jaivon Harris (Alliance) scored 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field to lead Ohio (9-17, 6-9).
N. Illinois 62, Miami (Ohio) 54
DEKALB, Ill. -- Marcus Smallwood scored 20 points to help Northern Illinois (8-18, 3-12 MAC) hold off Miami (15-9, 10-5). Chet Mason and Juby Johnson each had 15 points for Miami.
W. Michigan 86, Cent. Michigan 55
KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Mike Williams scored 19 points and Western Michigan (21-3, 13-2) clinched its first MAC West championship in six years. Levi Rost added 18 points and Ben Reed scored 14 for Western. Kevin Nelson led Central Michigan (5-21, 1-14) with 12 points.
