XNILES -- The Rev. John Temple officiated as Lyda Vigorito and Jake Davis, both of 15130 Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Jan. 24 at Ciminero's Banquet Centre.
Parents of the bride are Lyda and Ronald Lara, 519 W. Park Ave., and Daniel Vigorito Sr., 819 Olive St. The groom is a son of Delores and Carl Davis Jr., 12915 Chapin Road, Berlin Heights.
The couple accepted congratulations at a reception held immediately after the ceremony, and then left for a wedding trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. They live at the Sprucevale Road address.
A plum-colored gown was worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Lisa Vigorito of Niles.
The duties of best man were performed by John Davis of Swanton, a brother of the groom.
The bride, who will use the name Lyda Vigorito-Davis, holds an associate degree from Trumbull Business College in Warren. She is self-employed in East Liverpool.
The groom, an engineer with FirstEnergy in Stratton, graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree.
