CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 'Spoon ignites Rockets

Clarence Weatherspoon's strong finish helped Houston beat Cleveland.
HOUSTON (AP) -- Clarence Weatherspoon managed to upstage LeBron James and Yao Ming.
All it took was a big fourth quarter.
Weatherspoon scored nine of his 12 points in the final period, and Cuttino Mobley finished with 22 points to help the Houston Rockets hold off James and the Cleveland Cavaliers 90-84 Wednesday night.
"That was what they needed," Cavaliers coach Paul Silas said. "They were tired. They have played four games in five nights and they needed it from someone. 'Spoon really helped them."
Yao scored 17 points and came back in the final minutes despite four fouls and helped the Rockets win the game. James finished with 12 points.
Weatherspoon delivers
It was Weatherspoon who got the Rockets rolling in the fourth quarter.
"I just came out and tried to add some energy and be active," Weatherspoon said. "The team that gets the loose balls and big stops will usually pull it out. That's exactly what we did tonight."
While Weatherspoon was the spark, James and Yao struggled at times.
"He [James] looked tired," Silas said. "He kind of picked it up a little bit in the second half but that's not the LeBron we're used to seeing. We didn't shoot the ball well."
The loss snapped Cleveland's three-game winning streak and gave the Rockets their second victory of the season over the Cavs.
"It seemed like we had wide open shots in the first half but we didn't capitalize on them," James said. "We can't win without hitting our shots. We missed shots and they made shots. That was the difference down the stretch."
Ilgauskas and McInnis each had 17 points for the Cavaliers. Boozer had 16 points and 18 rebounds -- three short of his career high.
