COMMUNICATIONS
WARREN -- Sherman, a Warren-based communications firm, has appointed Adrienne Selko to director of employee communications. Selko will spearhead a new agency program that enables companies to increase employee awareness of health issues as a means to control skyrocketing health care costs.
Selko, who has held employee communications positions at National City Corp. and Marconi Medical Systems, has experience in corporate wellness programs and community education programs.
REAL ESTATE
HOWLAND -- Jill Recser joined Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate this month as a full-time sales associate in its Howland office. She received her Ohio real estate training from Kent State University Trumbull Campus and also studied real estate at Stetson University in DeLand, Fla. She has met the Ohio real estate licensing requirements.
BAKERY
BOARDMAN -- Anthony Tirabassi is the new manager of the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store at 796 Boardman-Poland Road. A Canfield resident, Tirabassi came to Krispy Kreme from Perkins Family Restaurants, where he was a district supervisor. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.
