Discount store to openlocation in Austintown
AUSTINTOWN -- Deal$ -- Nothing Over a Dollar, a discount retailer, will open a new store March 6 at 6007 Mahoning Avenue. The new store will employ 15. Founded in 1999, the Deal$ chain also has stores in Boardman, Niles and more than 100 other locations in 12 states, mostly in the Midwest and Southeast.
Cortland Bancorp dividend
CORTLAND -- Cortland Bancorp, holding company for Cortland Bank, has declared a quarterly dividend of 22 cents a share, payable April 1 to shareholders of record March 12. Neil J. Kaback, a partner in the certified public accounting firm of Cohen & amp; Co., was sworn in this week as the newest director of the corporation.

Unemployment rate staysunchanged in January
COLUMBUS -- Ohio's unemployment rate was 6.2 percent in January, unchanged from December, according to data from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The U.S. jobless rate was 5.6 percent in January, down from 5.7 percent in December.
