Mr. and Mrs. Ibele observe 50th event during trip with family to Las Vegas

XCANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Ibele of Canfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a trip Feb. 13 to Las Vegas with their family.
Joining them were their sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton Ibele of Cincinnati; Lyndon and Ann Ibele of Anchorage, Alaska; and Dan and Erin Ibele of Toledo; and their two grandchildren.
The former Marlyn Weber and Mr. Ibele exchanged marriage vows Dec. 19, 1953, in Cincinnati.
Retiring in 1986, Mr. Ibele was general superintendent of tubular mills at LTV Steel Corp.
Mrs. Ibele was a teacher and professional knitter.
They are members of First Christian Church in Salem and are involved in community activities.
