TRUMBULL COUNTY | Paving projects



The Trumbull County Engineer has been awarded grants from the Ohio Public Works Commission to repair four bridges and pave six sections of highway this year. The commission has awarded $1.3 million to the bridge and road rehabilitation programs, which are expected to cost a combined $1.8 million. The projects are:
Replacing a bridge in Bazetta on Warren-Meadville Road between Cortland and state Route 305.
Replacing a bridge in Bloomfield Township on Bloomfield-Geneva Road just north of Mahan-Parker Road.
Replacing a bridge in Kinsman on Mayburn Corners Barclay Road northeast of Burnett East Road.
Replacing a bridge in Farmington on Painesville-Warren State Road just southeast of Phalanx Mills-Herner Road.
Resurfacing Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield from Brookfield Avenue 0.7 miles east to the Pennsylvania state line.
Widening Sodom-Hutchings Road in Liberty and Vienna from Tibbetts Corners Wick Road north to state Route 82.
Resurfacing Salt Springs Road in Weathersfield from state Route 46 east to Interstate 80.
Resurfacing Warren-Burton Road in Southington from state Route 305/534 east to state Route 422.
Resurfacing portions of Larchmont Avenue in Howland and Bazetta from Warren City limits north to Perkins-Jones Road.
Resurfacing portions of Applegate-Sodom Road/Logangate Road in Liberty from state Route 7/62 northwest to Loganway-Wick Road.
