YOUNGSTOWN -- A 17-year-old Canfield boy told police he was raped in his cell at the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center by another 17-year-old boy, no address given.
Police interviewed the victim Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he'd gone for an examination. The victim said he had been sleeping on his stomach and was awakened about 1 a.m. Thursday by the suspect on top of him.
The case has been turned over to the police department's juvenile division.

Pa. police to probe casewhere hacker altered site
STRUTHERS -- Pennsylvania State Police are expected to continue an investigation begun by Struthers police involving a computer hacker who changed prices and added obscene remarks to descriptions of automobiles listed on an Internet auto dealer site.
Police said the owner of Mack Auto Specialties, 170 S. Bridge St., discovered the unauthorized changes Feb. 5.
Through the computer's internal components, police tracked the probable hacker to an address in Cranberry Township, Pa.
Mack Auto Specialties, police said, is a division of Dealer Specialties, an Internet service that sells automobiles online and downloads information to auto dealership magazines.
Reflective address plates
LOWELLVILLE -- Orders for reflective address plates available through the Lowellville Firefighters Association are due Sunday.
The reflective plates help emergency personnel locate homes where help is needed.
They are blue with gold reflective numbers and cost $5 each; $7 installed.
All orders must be paid in advance. The address plates will be delivered in mid-March.

Children's book event
BOARDMAN -- Southern Park Mall is celebrating the premiere of Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast! from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Local celebrities will read popular modern children's stories, and children are encouraged to bring a slightly used or new book for donation to the Salvation Army.
Adults and children will be eligible to win free books and special prizes.
At the premiere, children will receive, while supplies last, a goodie bag that will include an activity sheet, a bookmark and a beverage.
School contract extended
LIBERTY -- The township board of education and Liberty Association of School Employees have reached an agreement to extend their contract from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, 2005.
The extension announced jointly by Lawrence C. Prince, superintendent, and Robert Diroll, president of the Liberty Association of School Employees, includes no increase in base salary and a provision that current programs and staff will remain in place for the duration of the agreement.
The agreement was reached six months in advance of the expiration date.
The extension will provide educational stability and continuity for another school year, the officials said, despite the financial hardships placed on local school districts by the state funding formula.
The agreement was approved by the LASE membership at a meeting Feb. 26 with board approval at a meeting early today.
Innocent plea in shooting
WARREN -- A 24-year-old woman has pleaded innocent to charges of attempted murder, felonious assault and kidnapping.
Chinique Davenport of Quinn Street, Youngstown, was arraigned on the charges Thursday before Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
She is in the county jail in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
Prosecutors say that in May 2003, Davenport kidnapped Tim Wylind, no age available, of Lordstown, shot him and left him in a wooded area in Hubbard Township.
