AMHERST, Mass. -- Delonte West scored 23 points and Jameer Nelson added 19 and No. 2 Saint Joseph's remained unbeaten with an 83-58 victory over Massachusetts Wednesday.
Nelson had eight assists and West had seven rebounds for the Hawks (25-0, 14-0 Atlantic 10), who won by double figures for the sixth consecutive game and the 12th time in their last 14.
Rashaun Freeman scored 21 points for UMass (9-16, 3-10), which lost its fifth consecutive game.

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Lawrence Roberts scored 14 points for Mississippi State, which clinched its second straight SEC West title. Timmy Bowers and Winsome Frazier each had 13 points for the Bulldogs (22-2, 11-2). LSU (17-7, 7-6) got forward Jaime Lloreda back after he missed two games with injuries to his left Achilles' tendon and heel. Lloreda had 10 points and 12 rebounds.
