Entries are being acceptedfor Sprint photo contest
WARREN --The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County, Trumbull Art Gallery and Sprint are accepting entries for the sixth annual Sprint Yellow Pages photography contest.
The winning entry will be published on the cover of Sprint's Trumbull County telephone directory; runners-up will be featured on the Newton Falls, Jefferson or Lake Milton directories, and each winner gets a $50 savings bond. Applicants must live in sections of Northeast Ohio that receive local telephone service from Sprint.
Submissions must be postmarked by April 1 and must be accompanied by an entry form. Forms are available at public libraries, photo shops and the Trumbull Art Gallery.
Inventors associationplans meeting, speaker
LIBERTY -- Rick Willmitch, owner of Rix Mix Sound Ideas in Youngstown, will be guest speaker at the next meeting of the Youngstown & amp; Warren Inventors Association, set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Township Administration Building on Churchill-Hubbard Road. Willmitch will discuss the proper use of copyright registration for music, lyrics, poems and other intellectual property. The public is welcome and there is no charge to attend.
