NEW CASTLE Police arrest three in shooting of marbles at building windows



NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old were arrested and accused of shooting marbles at buildings in New Castle and Neshannock Township.
City police arrested Ryan Cearfoss, 18, of Olde Colony Drive, John K. Bell, 18, of 2523 Wilmington Road, and the 16-year-old Friday night in the parking lot of CVS on Wilmington Road. Police said owners of Mary's Restaurant on East Long Avenue and Family Video on Wilmington Road reported windows shot out with marbles.
Neshannock police said a window at Hy-Way Oil on Wilmington Road also was shot out that evening.
Police said they found marbles and a slingshot in the car.
City police charged Cearfoss and Bell with criminal mischief to public buildings. Neshannock police filed charges of recklessly endangering another person, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, criminal mischief, and criminal conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment. It's unclear if any charges have been filed in juvenile court against the 16-year-old. City police said damage to the window at Family Video was at least $2,000.
