HOUSTON -- Sancho Lyttles had 30 points and 15 rebounds, and Houston defeated DePaul to take the lead in Conference USA. Lyttle scored 21 points in the first half as Houston (22-3, 10-1) took a 45-31 lead. Chandi Jones finished with 17 points, and Nicole Oliver added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars. Houston won despite 27-point performances by Khara Smith and Charlene Smith. Khara also had 11 rebounds for DePaul (22-3, 10-2). The Blue Demons chipped away at the lead early in the second half, drawing to 50-40 on a layup by Charlene Smith with 17:38 remaining. But Houston extended the edge to 19 with 6:12 remaining when Oliver hit a 3-pointer from the left wing. The Blue Demons ended the game on an 18-6 run, and got as close as six when Khara Smith hit a 3-pointer.

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Sandora Irvin had her eighth straight double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds for Texas Christian. Irvin also blocked eight shots for the Lady Frogs (21-4, 10-2 Conference USA), Ebony Shaw led TCU with 16 points, and Natasha Lacy pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds. Carolyn Kieger led Marquette (18-7, 8-4) with 12 points. The Golden Eagles were plagued by 25-percent shooting for the game. The Lady Frogs led 24-13 at halftime.
