Battle of Philadelphia

Battle of Philadelphia
Here comes streaking Temple and its five-game winning streak as the last serious challenger to No. 2 Saint Joseph's undefeated season (23-0).
If any team is the roadblock in the Hawks' perfect season, it's the Owls.
The Owls weren't competitive last month when they lost to the Hawks -- their last loss before the winning streak -- as John Chaney's vaunted matchup zone allowed a conference-record 20 3-pointers.
The rematch comes today at the Palestra in Philadelphia where an upset is more likely to happen.
"This is a Philadelphia game. This is an A-10 game," St. Joseph's coach Phil Martelli said. "Temple is the standard bearer for the A-10. No matter who was the top dog, you're always going to go through Temple."
The Palestra is sold out, like nearly every Saint Joe's games this year, and the Temple fans already warmed up their vocal chords during the last five minutes of Wednesday's game, chanting, "We want Saint Joe's."
